The HEATECH INDONESIA 2024 is a trade show for heating technology in Indonesia. The Paris Agreement 2015 launched a net zero emissions race to combat climate change and global warming. The assessment report of the intergovernmental panel on climate change in 2023 estimates that in order to achieve the goals of the agreement, greenhouse gas emissions need to be reduced by 43% by 2030, which has become one of the important global concerns. Due to over 70% of emissions being caused by the use of fossil fuels for power generation, transportation, and heating, shifting from fossil fuels to energy is the primary action that countries around the world need to take. Although biomass may not be everyone's answer, it is certainly the most readily available, usable, wise, and sustainable choice for most of countries. Biomass has long been a concern of governments around the world. The Indonesian Ministry of Industry issued the Green Industry Regulation No. 3 of 2014, which is now being implemented through biomass combustion in coal-fired power plants, alternative fuels for biomass solid products in industrial boilers, and the conversion of diesel power plants to renewable energy. In addition, Indonesia's industrial sector has also begun to shift towards biomass driven by coal and natural gas prices increasing.
